BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin JOB TRAINING GRANT; HMONG AMERICAN PARTNERSHIP;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $750,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the Hmong
American Partnership to renovate facilities and expand multilingual job training programs
for low-income and refugee workers. Of the amount appropriated under this section:

new text begin (1) $550,000 is for building renovation; and
new text end

new text begin (2) $200,000 is for mechanic shop equipment, tools, and supplies.
