  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money to rebuild 
  1.3             or replace the University of Minnesota showboat. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [SHOWBOAT APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of administration for a grant to the city of St. 
  1.8   Paul to rebuild or replace the University of Minnesota showboat. 
  1.9      Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.10     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
