  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to tax-forfeited land; providing for a 
  1.3             conveyance to the city of Mounds View of a particular 
  1.4             tax-forfeited parcel. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; TO MOUNDS 
  1.7   VIEW.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding the public sale provisions of Minnesota 
  1.9   Statutes, chapter 282, the state of Minnesota shall convey to 
  1.10  the city of Mounds View for no consideration the tax-forfeited 
  1.11  land that is described in paragraph (c). 
  1.12     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.13  attorney general and provide that the land reverts to the state 
  1.14  if the city of Mounds View stops using the land for the public 
  1.15  purpose described in paragraph (d). 
  1.16     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Ramsey county, 
  1.17  consists of about 22 acres, and is described as that part 
  1.18  subject to Highway 10-62, Lots 1 through 6 and that part lying 
  1.19  northeasterly of Highway 10-62 of Lot 13 and Lots 14 and 15, 
  1.20  Block 1, Laport Meadows together with that part subject to 
  1.21  highway, (except Lot 8), all of Block 2, Laport Meadows. 
  1.22     (d) The county has determined that the land is needed by 
  1.23  the city of Mounds View for public facilities and public 
  1.24  recreation purposes.
