A bill for an act
 relating to taxation; sales and use; making changes to Clearwater sales tax;
amending Laws 2008, chapter 366, article 7, section 19, subdivision 3.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2008, chapter 366, article 7, section 19, subdivision 3, is amended to
read:


Subd. 3.

Use of revenues.

The proceeds of the tax imposed under this section shall
be used to pay for the costs of acquisition, construction, improvement, and development

and land and buildings for a community and recreation center. The total amount of
revenues from the taxes in subdivisions 1 and 2 that may be used to fund these projects is
$12,000,000 plus any associated bond costs.
