A bill for an act
 relating to local government; modifying use of land in Washington County;
amending Laws 1973, chapter 424, section 1, subdivision 2.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 1973, chapter 424, section 1, subdivision 2, is amended to read:


Subd. 2.

At the request of the governing body of the village of Bayport, the commissioner
of administration may sell only to the village of Bayport all or any part or parts of the lands
described in subdivision 1 for recreationalnew text begin, educational,new text end or cultural purposes at fair market
value, which shall be the average of three independent appraisals made by competent
appraisers selected by the commissioner of administration. The cost of conducting the
appraisals shall be included in the sale price.
