  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to courts; extending the streamlined 
  1.3             dissolution procedure project; modifying the duties 
  1.4             and powers of a referee for the duration of a family 
  1.5             court block calendar pilot program; amending Laws 
  1.6             1996, chapter 365, section 3, as amended. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Laws 1996, chapter 365, section 3, as amended 
  1.9   by Laws 1998, chapter 367, article 11, section 26, is amended to 
  1.10  read: 
  1.11     Sec. 3.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.12     Section 2 is repealed when the project is completed, or 
  1.13  June 30, 2000 2002, whichever occurs earlier. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective on the day following final enactment.
