  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; requiring a report from 
  1.3             independent school district No. 625, St. Paul. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [ST. PAUL; COMPENSATORY REVENUE REPORT.] 
  1.6      Independent school district No. 625, St. Paul, must report 
  1.7   the amount of compensatory revenue received by each school site 
  1.8   under Minnesota Statutes, section 124A.28, subdivision 1a, and 
  1.9   how the revenue was spent.  The report must be completed by July 
  1.10  1, 1998.  Copies of the report must be made available to the 
  1.11  public, parents, schools, and to the education committees of the 
  1.12  legislature. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
