  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the city of Browerville; authorizing 
  1.3             expenditures of tax increment outside of a certain 
  1.4             district. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CITY OF BROWERVILLE; TAX INCREMENT FINANCING 
  1.7   DISTRICT.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.9   section 469.1763, the city of Browerville may expend tax 
  1.10  increments from tax increment district No. 2 for eligible 
  1.11  activities outside tax increment district No. 2 but within 
  1.12  development district No. 1, and the limitations contained in 
  1.13  Minnesota Statutes, section 469.1763, subdivisions 2 and 3, 
  1.14  shall not apply.  
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.16     Section 1 is effective only after its approval by the 
  1.17  governing body of the city of Browerville and compliance with 
  1.18  Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivision 3.
