  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic security; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the continuation of the welfare-to-work extended 
  1.4             employment partnership program. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $1,500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of economic security for the continuation of 
  1.9   efforts to provide extended employment training for welfare 
  1.10  recipients through the welfare-to-work extended employment 
  1.11  partnership program as provided for under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.12  section 268A.15. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1998.
