  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             wind damage mitigation. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $931,000 is appropriated from the natural resources fund to 
  1.7   the commissioner of natural resources for grants to the counties 
  1.8   of Becker, Clearwater, and Hubbard for reforestation, timber 
  1.9   stand improvements, forest road reconstruction and maintenance, 
  1.10  aerial photography, and new forest inventories in areas damaged 
  1.11  by windstorms in July 1995.  The appropriation is available 
  1.12  until June 30, 1999.
