A bill for an act
relating to employment; redefining the base appropriation for extended
employment services for persons with severe disabilities; appropriating money;
amending Laws 2005, First Special Session chapter 1, article 3, section 2,
subdivision 4.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2005, First Special Session chapter 1, article 3, section 2, subdivision
4, is amended to read:

state services for the blind activities.

second year are from the general fund for the
state's vocational rehabilitation program for
people with significant disabilities to assist
with employment, under Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 268A.


On or after July 1, 2005, the commissioner
of finance shall cancel the unencumbered
balance in the contaminated site cleanup and
development account to the unrestricted fund
balance in the general fund.

of the Department of Employment and Economic Development to fund special projects
focused on providing employment support to:

new text begin (1) young people with mental illness who are transitioning from school to work; and

health court. Projects must demonstrate interagency collaboration.
