BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; EMERGENCY SERVICES GRANTS.

new text begin $35,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of human services to provide emergency services grants under Minnesota Statutes, section
256E.36. The base for this appropriation is $30,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $30,000,000
in fiscal year 2025. Grant allocation balances in the first year do not cancel but are available
in the second year.
