  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; authorizing state bonds; 
  1.3             appropriating money for the state of Minnesota storm 
  1.4             sewer reconstruction project, adjacent to the 
  1.5             department of corrections Stillwater facility. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [PRISON STORM SEWER PROJECT.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $2,400,000 is appropriated 
  1.9   from the bond proceeds fund to the department of corrections for 
  1.10  a grant to the city of Bayport as fiscal agent for the state of 
  1.11  Minnesota storm sewer reconstruction project, adjacent to the 
  1.12  department of corrections Stillwater facility. 
  1.13     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated by 
  1.14  this section from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.15  finance, on request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds 
  1.16  of the state in an amount up to $2,400,000 in the manner, on the 
  1.17  terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.18  sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.19  article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     Section 1 is effective the day after its final enactment.
