  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money to 
  1.3             the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to 
  1.4             develop a direct reduction iron processing facility in 
  1.5             Minnesota. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; DIRECT REDUCTION IRON 
  1.8   PROCESSING FACILITY GRANT.] 
  1.9      $4,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.10  commissioner of natural resources for a grant to develop a 
  1.11  direct reduction iron processing facility in Minnesota.  This 
  1.12  appropriation is available until July 1, 1999.
