  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to housing; appropriating money for family 
  1.3             homeless prevention and assistance. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FAMILY HOMELESS PREVENTION APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $2,250,000 in fiscal year 2003 is appropriated from the 
  1.7   general fund for transfer to the housing development fund for 
  1.8   the family homeless prevention and assistance program under 
  1.9   Minnesota Statutes, section 462A.04.  This appropriation is in 
  1.10  addition to any other appropriation for the 2002-2003 biennium 
  1.11  and shall be added to the budget base for the program otherwise 
  1.12  provided by law for the 2002-2003 biennium.
