  1.2             relating to health; appropriating money for the breast 
  1.3             and cervical cancer control program. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $989,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of health for the breast and cervical cancer 
  1.8   control program to fund cancer screening through local health 
  1.9   care providers for low-income individuals without adequate 
  1.10  health insurance and to implement strategies to encourage and 
  1.11  increase appropriate use of breast and cervical cancer screening 
  1.12  services.
