  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; modifying decoy 
  1.3             restrictions; amending Minnesota Statutes 2002, 
  1.4             section 97B.811, subdivision 3; repealing Minnesota 
  1.5             Statutes 2002, section 97B.811, subdivision 4. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 97B.811, 
  1.8   subdivision 3, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 3.  [RESTRICTIONS ON LEAVING DECOYS OVERNIGHT.] 
  1.10  During the open season for waterfowl, a person may not leave 
  1.11  decoys in public waters between sunset and one hour before 
  1.12  lawful shooting hours unless:  
  1.13     (1) the decoys are in waters adjacent to private land under 
  1.14  the control of the hunter; and 
  1.15     (2) there is not natural vegetation growing in water 
  1.16  sufficient to partially conceal a hunter.  
  1.17     Sec. 2.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.18     Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 97B.811, subdivision 4, is 
  1.19  repealed.
