  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Martin, Norman, Polk, and Washington counties. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; MARTIN COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, and the public sale provisions of 
  1.10  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Martin county may sell by 
  1.11  private sale the tax-forfeited land bordering public water that 
  1.12  is described in paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of 
  1.13  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282.  
  1.14     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.15  attorney general. 
  1.16     (c) The land to be sold is located in Martin county and is 
  1.17  described as: 
  1.18     (1) Parcel No. 23-164-0010, Lot 001, Block 001, Lake Park 
  1.19  Addition, city of Fairmont; 
  1.20     (2) Parcel No. 23-164-0380, Lot 021, Block 002, Lake Park 
  1.21  Addition, city of Fairmont; 
  1.22     (3) Parcel No. 23-164-0400, Lot 025, Block 002, Lake Park 
  1.23  Addition, city of Fairmont; and 
  1.24     (4) Parcel No. 23-164-0450, Lot 004, Block 003, Lake Park 
  1.25  Addition, city of Fairmont.  
  2.1      (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  2.2   management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  2.3   returned to private ownership. 
  2.4      Sec. 2.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  2.5   PUBLIC WATER; NORMAN COUNTY.] 
  2.6      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  2.7   282.018, subdivision 1, Norman county may sell the tax-forfeited 
  2.8   land bordering public water that is described in paragraph (c), 
  2.9   under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 
  2.10  282. 
  2.11     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  2.12  attorney general. 
  2.13     (c) The land to be sold is located in Norman county and is 
  2.14  described as: 
  2.15     (1) Section 12, Township 146, Range 49, commencing at a 
  2.16  point 369.13 feet North and 2318.07 feet West of the southeast 
  2.17  corner of Section 12-146-49; East 363.3 feet, North 514.71 feet, 
  2.18  northwest and westerly 1193.15 feet, South 290.6 feet, to the 
  2.19  center of Marsh river, southerly along the river center line to 
  2.20  the south line of Section 12 (Parcel 18-7034000); and 
  2.21     (2) Section 13, Township 146, Range 49, that part of the S 
  2.22  1/2 of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4, south of river (Parcel 
  2.23  18-7049000). 
  2.24     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  2.25  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  2.26  returned to private ownership. 
  2.27     Sec. 3.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  2.28  PUBLIC WATER; POLK COUNTY.] 
  2.29     (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  2.30  282.018, subdivision 1, Polk county may sell the tax-forfeited 
  2.31  land bordering public water that is described in paragraph (c), 
  2.32  under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 
  2.33  282. 
  2.34     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  2.35  attorney general. 
  2.36     (c) The land to be sold is located in Polk county and is 
  3.1   described as: 
  3.2      Lots 1 to 8, Block 1, Park Addition to Erskine. 
  3.3      (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  3.4   management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  3.5   returned to private ownership. 
  3.6      Sec. 4.  [PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  3.7   PUBLIC WATER; WASHINGTON COUNTY.] 
  3.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  3.9   282.018, subdivision 1, and the public sale provisions of 
  3.10  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Washington county may sell by 
  3.11  private sale the tax-forfeited land bordering public water that 
  3.12  is described in paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of 
  3.13  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282.  
  3.14     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  3.15  attorney general. 
  3.16     (c) The land to be sold is located in Washington county and 
  3.17  is described as:  Lot 1, Block 1, Holiday Beach. 
  3.18     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  3.19  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  3.20  returned to private ownership.
