A bill for an act
relating to human services; establishing multisystemic therapy services for children
as a covered medical assistance benefit; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section
256B.0625, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 256B.0625, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

multisystemic therapy services provided to a child up to age 21.

new text begin EFFECTIVE DATE. new text end

new text begin This section is effective for services provided on or after July 1,
2019, or, if necessary, after federal approval is obtained, whichever is later. The commissioner
of human services shall inform the revisor of statutes if federal approval is required, and if
so, when federal approval is obtained.
