  1.3             amending Minnesota Statutes 1995 Supplement, section 
  1.4             124.71, subdivision 2. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1995 Supplement, section 
  1.7   124.71, subdivision 2, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 2.  Commissioner as used in sections 124.71 to 124.76 
  1.9   means the commissioner of children, families, and learning or, 
  1.10  for certificates for a technical college, the chancellor of 
  1.11  vocational technical education.
