  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to public employment; providing for a 
  1.3             continuation of benefits for certain technical college 
  1.4             employees. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TECHNICAL COLLEGES; EMPLOYEE BENEFITS.] 
  1.7      Faculty employed in positions that were considered to be 
  1.8   full-time permanent job share positions at a technical college 
  1.9   prior to July 1, 1995, shall continue to receive all of the 
  1.10  benefits that are provided to full-time permanent faculty 
  1.11  positions in the technical college instructional unit negotiated 
  1.12  under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 179A. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
