  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Aitkin county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; AITKIN COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.8   282.018, subdivision 1, Aitkin county may sell the tax-forfeited 
  1.9   lands bordering public water that are described in paragraph 
  1.10  (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.11  chapter 282. 
  1.12     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.13  attorney general. 
  1.14     (c) The lots that may be conveyed are located in Aitkin 
  1.15  county and are described as: 
  1.16     (1) plat of Lakeshore Acres, lot 32, Section 23, Township 
  1.17  49, Range 23; 
  1.18     (2) plat of Black Rock Woods, lots 2 and 3, block 1, city 
  1.19  of Aitkin; 
  1.20     (3) plat of Ripple View Development, lot 1, block 2, city 
  1.21  of Aitkin; and 
  1.22     (4) plat of McClain's Addition to the city of Hill City, 
  1.23  Outlot C, less part in Documents Nos. 182193 and 237129 and less 
  1.24  part included in highway right-of-way. 
  1.25     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  2.1   management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  2.2   returned to private ownership.
