  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to liquor; authorizing the city of Virginia 
  1.3             to issue an additional on-sale license.  
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [CITY OF VIRGINIA; LIQUOR LICENSES.] 
  1.6      The city of Virginia may issue one on-sale intoxicating 
  1.7   liquor license in addition to the number authorized by law.  All 
  1.8   provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, not inconsistent 
  1.9   with this section, apply to the license authorized under this 
  1.10  section. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE; LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective upon approval by the Virginia city 
  1.13  council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
