  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; providing an appropriation 
  1.3             for emergency deer feeding; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $1,250,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of natural resources for emergency deer feeding in 
  1.8   areas of the state affected by severe weather.  This 
  1.9   appropriation is in addition to the appropriation in Laws 1995, 
  1.10  chapter 220, section 5, subdivision 7.  
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
