  1.2             relating to education; exempting independent school 
  1.3             district No. 2860, Blue Earth area, from age 
  1.4             requirement for type III school van. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [VAN AGE EXEMPTION.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 169.454, 
  1.8   subdivision 2, independent school district No. 2860, Blue Earth 
  1.9   area, may continue to operate one van that is ten or more model 
  1.10  years old as a type III vehicle to transport school children. 
  1.11     (b) This section expires July 1, 2005. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 2 is effective the day following final enactment.
