  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; increasing case management 
  1.3             rates for Kandiyohi county under the alternative care 
  1.4             program and the elderly waiver; amending Minnesota 
  1.5             Statutes 1998, sections 256B.0913, by adding a 
  1.6             subdivision; and 256B.0915, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 256B.0913, is 
  1.9   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.10     Subd. 15d.  [REIMBURSEMENT RATE; KANDIYOHI 
  1.11  COUNTY.] Notwithstanding subdivision 14, paragraph (c), 
  1.12  effective July 1, 2000, Kandiyohi county's maximum allowed rate 
  1.13  for case management services is $20.16 per 15-minute unit.  Any 
  1.14  adjustments in fiscal year 2001 to the maximum allowed rate for 
  1.15  case management services for Kandiyohi county shall be 
  1.16  calculated from the maximum rate in effect on July 1, 2000. 
  1.17     Sec. 2.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 256B.0915, is 
  1.18  amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.19     Subd. 3d.  [REIMBURSEMENT RATE; KANDIYOHI 
  1.20  COUNTY.] Notwithstanding subdivision 3, paragraph (g), effective 
  1.21  July 1, 2000, Kandiyohi county's maximum allowed rate for case 
  1.22  management services is $20.36 per 15-minute unit.  Any 
  1.23  adjustments in fiscal year 2001 to the maximum allowed rate for 
  1.24  case management services for Kandiyohi county shall be 
  1.25  calculated from the maximum rate in effect on July 1, 2000.
