A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; removing certain acquisition restrictions for Lake
Vermilion State Park; amending Laws 2008, chapter 365, section 25.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2008, chapter 365, section 25, is amended to read:


Sec. 25. ACQUISITION; LAKE VERMILION STATE PARK.

The commissioner of natural resources may acquire by gift or purchase the lands
for Lake Vermilion State Park. Minnesota Statutes, section 84.0272, subdivision 1, does
not apply to a purchase, except for the requirement that the lands be appraised. deleted text begin The
