A bill for an act
relating to human services; establishing allowances for counties that overspend
waivered services allotments for persons with developmental disabilities;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 256B.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin A county that overspends its allowed amounts in a calendar year under the waivered
services program for persons with developmental disabilities shall not be required to pay
back the amount of overspending when the net amount spent by all counties for these
waivered services is within the limits of appropriations for these services by all counties.
