  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to tax-forfeited lands; authorizing the 
  1.3             conveyance of certain tax-forfeited land in Faribault 
  1.4             county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND, FARIBAULT 
  1.7   COUNTY.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [CONVEYANCE.] (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota 
  1.9   Statutes, sections 92.45, 103F.535, and 282.018, and the sale 
  1.10  provision of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Faribault county 
  1.11  may sell at a private sale to the city of Minnesota Lake at its 
  1.12  appraised value the tax-forfeited land bordering public water 
  1.13  that is described in subdivision 2.  
  1.14     (b) The county has determined that it is in the public's 
  1.15  best interest to sell the parcels to the city of Minnesota Lake 
  1.16  for street right-of-way and for residential development.  
  1.17     (c) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.18  attorney general.  
  1.19     Subd. 2.  [DESCRIPTION.] The land that may be conveyed is 
  1.20  located in Faribault county and is described as:  
  1.21     Lots 3 and 4, Nordaas Subdivision No. 3, Minnesota Lake, 
  1.22     Faribault County, Minnesota.  
  1.23     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.24     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
