  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; authorizing state bonds; 
  1.3             appropriating money for upgrading of the highway Nos. 
  1.4             242 and 10 interchange and the approaches to it on 
  1.5             highway No. 242 and Anoka county highway No. 14. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [HIGHWAY NOS. 242 AND 10 INTERCHANGE AND 
  1.8   APPROACHES.] 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $10,300,000 is 
  1.10  appropriated from the state transportation fund as provided in 
  1.11  Minnesota Statutes, section 174.50, to the commissioner of 
  1.12  transportation for an upgrade to the highway Nos. 242 and 10 
  1.13  interchange and the approaches to it on highway No. 242 and 
  1.14  Anoka county highway No. 14. 
  1.15     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated by 
  1.16  this section from the state transportation fund, the 
  1.17  commissioner of finance, on request of the governor, shall sell 
  1.18  and issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $10,300,000 in 
  1.19  the manner, on the terms, and with the effect prescribed by 
  1.20  Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the 
  1.21  Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.  The 
  1.22  proceeds of the bonds, except accrued interest and any premium 
  1.23  received on the sale of the bonds, must be credited to a bond 
  1.24  proceeds account in the state transportation fund. 
  1.25     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  2.1      Section 1 is effective the day after its final enactment.
