  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 216C.051, 
  1.8   subdivision 9, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 9.  [EXPIRATION.] This section is repealed June 
  1.10  30, 2000 2005. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective the day following its final 
  1.13  enactment.
