A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for capital improvements
on the Red Lake Indian Reservation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SOCIAL SERVICE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND
WHITEFEATHER MOE TECHNOLOGY CENTER REMODEL; RED LAKE
INDIAN RESERVATION.

new text begin (a) $18,800,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
employment and economic development for a grant to the Red Lake Indian Reservation to:

new text begin (1) construct a building to house the social services of Oshkimahdahtah in Redby; and
new text end

new text begin (2) remodel the Whitefeather Moe Technology Center to return space to classrooms
and laboratories for educational purposes.

new text begin (b) This appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned,
subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
