  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; requiring that the grant 
  1.3             period for a flood mitigation project grant to the 
  1.4             city of Stillwater be extended. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [STILLWATER LEVEE FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding the grant expiration date of June 30, 2002, 
  1.8   the commissioner of natural resources shall extend until June 
  1.9   30, 2006, the expiration date of a grant made to the city of 
  1.10  Stillwater under Minnesota Statutes, section 103F.161, and 
  1.11  matching certain federal appropriations for flood hazard 
  1.12  mitigation.
