  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to capital investment; appropriating money 
  1.3             for county roadwork in Roseau County; authorizing the 
  1.4             issuance of general obligation bonds. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; ROSEAU COUNTY ROAD.] 
  1.7      $300,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of transportation for a grant to Roseau County to 
  1.9   rebuild County Road 120, including raising the level of the road 
  1.10  to act as a dike.  This appropriation is not available until the 
  1.11  commissioner of finance determines that $200,000 in nonstate 
  1.12  resources has been committed to the project. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.14     To provide the money appropriated in section 1, the 
  1.15  commissioner of finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state 
  1.16  in an amount up to $300,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and 
  1.17  with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 
  1.18  16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article 
  1.19  XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.20     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final 
  1.22  enactment.
