  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to state government; requiring legislative 
  1.3             approval of proposed administrative rules; proposing 
  1.4             coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 14. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [14.015] [LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL.] 
  1.7      In addition to any other requirement imposed by this 
  1.8   chapter, a rule becomes effective only if it is enacted into law.
  1.9      Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.10     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment, 
  1.11  and applies to any rule for which notice of intent to adopt a 
  1.12  rule is published in the State Register after that date.
