  1.2             relating to data practices; limiting preliminary 
  1.3             access to terms of tentative collective bargaining 
  1.4             agreements; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 
  1.5             13.37, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 13.37, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 2a.  [TENTATIVE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING 
  1.10  AGREEMENTS.] Government data on the terms of a proposed 
  1.11  agreement under chapter 179A covering terms and conditions of 
  1.12  employment are nonpublic data until ten days after a tentative 
  1.13  agreement is reached by the employer and the exclusive 
  1.14  representative or the agreement is approved by the affected 
  1.15  employees, whichever is earlier.
