  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the metropolitan area agency on aging. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $100,000 is appropriated for fiscal year 1999 from the 
  1.7   general fund to the commissioner of human services for the 
  1.8   metropolitan area agency on aging.  This appropriation is to be 
  1.9   used for the purpose of providing services to enable older 
  1.10  adults to remain living in the community.  Money appropriated 
  1.11  for this purpose is available until expended.
