  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; allowing a school district to 
  1.3             levy 100 percent of certain lease projects. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [LEASE LEVY EXCEPTIONS.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 126C.40, 
  1.7   subdivision 1, and other law to the contrary, a school district 
  1.8   may levy for 100 percent of the costs of any project approved 
  1.9   and completed before July 1, 2003. 
  1.10     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective for taxes 
  1.11  payable in 2005.
