A bill for an act
relating to transportation; appropriating money for street and infrastructure
construction between East Point Douglas Road and Washington County State-Aid
Highway 19 in the city of Cottage Grove.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $7,111,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to the city of Cottage Grove for predesign, design, construction,
and associated infrastructure improvements along Cottage View Drive and Ravine Parkway
between East Point Douglas Road and Washington County State-Aid Highway 19 in Cottage
Grove. This project includes construction of roadways; pedestrian and bicycle facilities;
and sanitary sewer, water distribution, and drainage systems. This is a onetime appropriation
and is available until expended subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
