A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; allowing grazing under
certain conditions on land subject to state easement;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 17.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

GRAZING PLAN.

new text begin Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a person may graze
livestock on agricultural land subject to an easement held by a
state agency as provided in a grazing plan that:

new text begin (1) protects the environment and wildlife habitat; and
new text end

new text begin (2) is approved by the agency holding the easement.
