  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to health; prohibiting minors from receiving 
  1.3             a tattoo in certain circumstances; proposing coding 
  1.4             for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 144. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [144.3431] [TATTOOS; MINORS.] 
  1.7      No person under the age of 16 may receive a tattoo.  A 
  1.8   person between the ages of 16 and 18 may receive a tattoo if the 
  1.9   person provides written parental consent.  The consent must 
  1.10  include both the custodial and noncustodial parent, where 
  1.11  applicable.
