  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to amateur athletics; providing for a St. 
  1.3             Paul soccer exhibition center; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [ST. PAUL SOCCER EXHIBITION CENTER; 
  1.6   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of administration for a grant to the city of St. 
  1.9   Paul to predesign a soccer exhibition center.  This 
  1.10  appropriation is not available until the commissioner has 
  1.11  determined that an equal amount has been committed by nonstate 
  1.12  sources. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
