A bill for an act
relating to corrections; appropriating money to reimburse certain counties for
costs of probation officers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin MATCHING APPROPRIATION FOR COUNTY PROBATION

$....... is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of corrections to be
disbursed to counties participating under Minnesota Statutes, section 244.19, subdivision
6, as a 50 percent matching reimbursement for the cost of providing probation and parole
services to wards of the commissioner of corrections in accordance with Minnesota
Statutes, section 244.19, subdivision 6.
