  1.3             for independent school district No. 238, Mabel-Canton. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [DEBT SERVICE AID; MABEL-CANTON.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 124.431, 
  1.7   subdivision 2, paragraph (a), clause (2), and 124.95, 
  1.8   subdivision 2, paragraph (b), independent school district No. 
  1.9   238, Mabel-Canton, shall be eligible to receive debt service aid 
  1.10  for elementary school remodeling and construction begun after 
  1.11  January 1, 1996.
