  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for a grant 
  1.3             to independent school district No. 277, Westonka, for 
  1.4             tuition costs for resident children with a disability 
  1.5             enrolled in a nonresident district under the 
  1.6             enrollment options program. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.9      $100,000 in fiscal year 1998 and $100,000 in fiscal year 
  1.10  1999 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner 
  1.11  of children, families, and learning for a grant to independent 
  1.12  school district No. 277, Westonka, for the tuition costs for 
  1.13  resident children with a disability enrolled in a nonresident 
  1.14  school district under Minnesota Statutes, section 120.062.  The 
  1.15  amount of the grant in each fiscal year shall not exceed the 
  1.16  actual amount of the tuition costs for that fiscal year to 
  1.17  independent school district No. 277.
