A bill for an act
 relating to human services; modifying the definition of an individual who is
related; amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 245A.02, subdivision 13.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 245A.02, subdivision 13, is amended to
read:


Subd. 13.

Individual who is related.

"Individual who is related" means a spouse, a
parent, a natural or adopted child or stepchild, a stepparent, a stepbrother, a stepsister, a
niece, a nephew, an adoptive parent, a grandparent, new text begin a great-grandparent, new text end a sibling, an aunt,
an uncle, new text begin a great-aunt, a great-uncle, new text end or a legal guardian.
