A bill for an act
 relating to higher education; clarifying a provision in the workforce development
scholarship program; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 136F.38,
subdivision 1.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 136F.38, subdivision 1, is amended to read:


Subdivision 1.

Program established.

The board shall develop a scholarship program
to incentivize new students new text begin and students returning from the workforce new text end to enter high-demand
occupations upon graduation.
