A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; authorizing sale of certain tax-forfeited land.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text beginSALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; CASS COUNTY.

new text begin (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 282.01, or any other law to the
contrary, Cass County shall convey the tax-forfeited parcels specified in paragraph (c)
to the city of Pillager for less than their appraised value.

new text begin (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The attorney
general may make changes to the land description to correct errors and ensure accuracy.
