  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state government; transferring authority 
  1.3             for feedlots from the pollution control agency to the 
  1.4             department of agriculture. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TRANSFER OF AUTHORITY.] 
  1.7      All powers and duties of the pollution control agency under 
  1.8   Minnesota Statutes, sections 116.07, subdivisions 7, 7a, 7b, and 
  1.9   7c, and 116.0713, are transferred to the department of 
  1.10  agriculture. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [INSTRUCTION TO REVISOR.] 
  1.12     The revisor of statutes shall codify Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.13  sections 116.07, subdivisions 7, 7a, 7b, and 7c, and 116.0713, 
  1.14  in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 17, and shall change "agency," 
  1.15  where it refers to the pollution control agency, to 
  1.16  "department," and "pollution control agency" to "department of 
  1.17  agriculture."  
  1.18     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     Section 1 is effective on the day following final enactment.
