  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; prohibiting restriction of lanes 
  1.3             on interstate highway 394 for exclusive use of 
  1.4             high-occupancy vehicles; requiring certain traffic 
  1.5             restrictions on those lanes. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 394; USE OF LANES.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [PROHIBITION.] The commissioner of 
  1.9   transportation shall not restrict the use of any lanes on marked 
  1.10  interstate highway I-394 for the exclusive use of high-occupancy 
  1.11  vehicles. 
  1.12     Subd. 2.  [REVERSIBLE LANES.] The commissioner shall by 
  1.13  order designate the lanes on marked interstate highway I-394 
  1.14  formerly restricted to high-occupancy vehicles as reversible 
  1.15  lanes for one direction of travel during periods of peak traffic.
